Specifications
The extension operates independently from other modules in Business Central, with a single key – the asset code – linking to the fixed assets module.
Setting up the software is simple. Start by registering fixed assets and creating a lease cost card. Before initiating the lease cost calculation, define “Residual Values” by setting up terms and percentages.
To create a new lease cost, you have two options: use the “New” option or import vehicle data through an Excel file. When using the “New” option, input the relevant asset details, and let the system automatically calculate cost components like GST credits, total amounts, inventory value, residual amounts, and more.
Updating the lease cost status is a breeze. Simply mark it as “Inactive” to halt calculations for that term. To enable refinancing for the next term, use the “Bulk Refinance” action, which copies current values to finance values and updates the status accordingly.
The software offers a user-friendly interface with the ability to calculate lease costs for any specific month. Additionally, comprehensive reports, including Lease Cost Summary, Lease Cost Summary, and Re-finance Item Summary, provide valuable insights into lease cost calculations for selected periods and identify possible items for refinancing.
